What we liked the most in the movie is the love that the characters have for one other, it’s their strength. We also appreciate their complicity and their loyalty towards one another.
We were impressed by the strength of the movie and the bravery of the youngest sister: Lale. Our favourite moment is at the end when Lale and Nur run away to Istanbul, for them it’s the beginning of a new life. Maybe, the movie was too long, some secondary scenes could have been cut.
This movie is interesting because we discover women’s life in a very different country from France. And it’s hard to see that today in some countries, this is the real living conditions of women. It seems a little unrealistic if we compare French women’s conditions with their situations, because in France there are only love marriages.
